Come Hop Aboard the iVan
The DDEC is taking a group of interesting faculty and staff to iPod Innovation Day at Georgia College and State University on April 16. GCSU has been on the cutting edge of using iPods for distance and distributed learning, and their work has recently been featured on CNN.com, Matha Stewart Radio, the Chicago Tribune and now right here on the DDEC newsblog. Our sister institution has also set up a really big server for iPodding that faculty from all USG institutions will be able to set up accounts on. The UWG iVan will leave at 6am and return late in the afternoon. The DDEC will also pick up the $30 registration fee of those attending from West Georgia. To sign up, email Janet Gubbins.
